Biological Function:
Catalyses the dephosphorylation of pNP-phosphate (pNPP), acetyl-phosphate, carbamoyl-phosphate, imido-diphosphate and exhibits a wide specificity for numerous natural sugar, nucleotide and cofactor phosphates, most notably pyridoxal-5-phosphate, fructose-1-phosphate, erythrose-4-phosphate, fructose-6-phosphate, ribose-5-phosphate, 2-deoxyribose-5-phosphate, glucosamine-6-phosphate, mannose-6-phosphate, glucose-6-phosphate, 3-CMP, FMN and 2-deoxyglucose-6-phosphate.
